If you want a complaint that bad, I could nit-pick you that Lickliter was a fired Big 10 coach, not Big 12, but your point stands regardless.

Not really. You're the first one I've seen with a reasonable assessment of Murray. Maybe a minor quibble here and there but that's all perfectly acceptable.

UIC really has done a poor job with damage control on the Damaria Franklin situation. Perhaps they realize that, even if they are technically correct, most people will take the side of the “kid”. They should’ve at least explained why they can’t sign it.

Looks like Coach Yak is not even the responsible party here. It’s the AD. And the AD cannot make the required certification because Damaria was given every opportunity to participate. Of course we’re not running one of our best players out of town after we held a scholarship open for him to return after testing NBA waters.

Why would the AD lie to the NCAA and risk some type of punishment? Yeah maybe nothing will happen….but why take the chance for a kid not with your program anymore?

Outside of that…have to agree with us in the cellar this year. Lost too much too late. Hopefully the young guys will contribute and give us a nice foundation going forward.

Like most on here I really don’t know what to expect from Illinois State. What I am encouraged about though is that the Redbirds will not have any freshman on scholarship & will not have any JUCO transfers on scholarship. All 13 scholarship players on the roster have D1 game experience. In past seasons they were filled with freshman, JUCO, and transfers. So this should be an interesting season. They could be horrible, or they could really surprise.

Big 12 big ten neither has that amount of schools lol
They were both in the state of Iowa at least

I think you are spot on with Belmont. We haven't had a year where we had to do this much rebuilding for a long, long time. A team that is loaded with freshmen are usually very inconsistent.
