Big road win for the Salukis vs a Power 5. Could be the start to a excellent season.

Great win for the Salukis. For the few on here who like to compare the Hinson era to the Mullins era, one notable data point is Hinson had exactly ZERO wins against power conference opponents during his tenure whereas Mullins has now taken down Butler, Colorado and Oklahoma State (and counting …) in less than half the amount of time.

This season has some real upside now. Bummed, though, about Ebube being out for extended time. I think he had all-freshman team potential and, just from a fun standpoint, is a ferocious dunker. Hopefully he provides a big lift when he returns, likely sometime in January.

Man it would be a dream for the Valley to go 4-0 tonight…

I think we've got a real good shot in three of them...

Hinson’s teams were constantly non-competitive against anyone good. Still think Mullins has a bit to prove this year but there’s no doubt this is better than the Hinson era already.

Looks like we were a little delusional about the quality of our teams.

It could be. But it's one game.

Belmont was on the road. UNI was on the road. Bradley was on the road. Those aren't excuses but winning at Furman, Richmond and Utah State isn't easy. If the trend continues and home losses start happening - then we look at it.

That said - Utah State was picked 8th in the Mountain West and boat raced Bradley. That league has taken a huge step forward.

Ball just wouldn't go in the bucket in the second half. It happens. Marked improvement defensively. Bring on the Hoos on Monday night.

The problem with those losses, while roadies, were all against other MM teams/conferences. Gotta win those head to head matches . Belmont and UNI didn't shock much, Bradley was more so.
