Total crap shoot on the league. SIU is 9-4 but has struggled against a pretty mediocre schedule. The last four games have been against weak competition and for the most part we have struggled. Really concerned that we are shooting way to many 3’s. Haven’t found a consistent scoring options other than Marcus and Lance. Inside game is so erratic it is going to be tough for us on the road.

Murray State has NEVER finished 8th or worse since these things have been kept up with.

The Racers finished 7th in the OVC in 1979. Many of you weren't born yet.

“Loyalty” isn’t going anywhere. Basketball is a huge part of the town and the culture. We aren’t expecting to come in and “dominate” with a completely new team and conference the first year. Finishing 5th-7th would be understandable given the changes this season. I think the talent on this team is capable of getting us in the top 4 but theres a-lot of work to be done.
