It was over for Drake the moment Randy Heimerman walked out on to the court. 'My least favorite official for Drake games over the past few years (and he lives in the Des Moines area).

BU outplayed Drake. Can't bring your D+ game on the road in a championship game and expect anything good to happen.

I think everyone hates Heimerman :).

Is he the new Gerry Pollard?

I actually think Pollard is a pretty good official. Randy is not.

Nah, Gerry Pollard is actually good.

Heimerman isn't ever sniffing a regional, let alone a Final Four.

I was kind of hoping for a Drake win. But if Southern's gonna make a run at it, they'll probably need to beat both teams either way.

What an amazing environment for a championship game today. I honestly didn't think I would ever see a 10k sell out in Peoria again after Covid and just other options for entertainment.

Kudos to the Drake faithful for making the trip. I've never seen so many opposing fans in Peoria minus maybe a random Southern game or ISU fans making the 40 minute drive over.

Difference today was Bradley's depth and role players making a whole bunch of plays in the middle of the 2nd half, Ville, Hannah, and Henry.

It also helped that Hickman was on fire. Looking forward to a really fun Arch Madness next weekend.

Should be Tucker either way

Tucker didn’t look like the Larry Bird winner against Bradley.
Mast looked like the POY.

Leon's tends to do that to people. You could make a case for the DPOY being on the 1st team all conference. It's gotta be a landslide for Leon's winning Defebsive Player of the year right?

I still think Tucker wins it - but Drake without Penn is worse than Drake without Tucker - IMO.
