DJ Burns for Murray State announced his intent to play professionally, but left the door open to play another year somewhere.

Rob Perry has declared for the NBA Draft, but leaving his college options open. I'm certain he's not going pro, but not sure where he'll land college-wise.

Is Burns wanting to go professional in MMA fighting or basketball?

So that's 7 of the 11 1st and 2nd team All League guys gone for sure with some real questions on Leons and Clay actually coming back next year.

That stinks but there is backfill to be had. Let's see who can go out and find it.

I know I'm beating a dead horse - but I don't see guys like Mast and Domask leaving as some "anti MVC" play on their parts or guys just looking for greener pastures.

If you give four years to a program, and even graduate, you've done your part. It shouldn't be taken as a lowly MVC can't keep it's players situation.

100%. It's a different world than it was 10 years ago and this league either adapts or becomes the Summit League. The portal works both ways. It's time for the coaching staffs in the league to earn their money.

Domask deserves to go somewhere to win. SIU couldn’t put a winner around him and Jones for 4 years, that’s more than enough time to build a winner. Unfortunately he’s probably going to Wisconsin with Greg Gard so he might never see an NCAA Tournament. At least he’ll be used to their offense, they scored 13 2nd half points in a loss to North Texas.

I could see him going to Northwestern and playing for Chris Lowery. Marcus is obviosly an intelligent kid and the possibility of going to Northwestern would be appealing. The program was a Big 10 title contender this year and is definitely moving in the right direction. Plus the possibility of one Saluki legend playing for another Saluki legend and doing damage in the dance would be great motivation. It's a shame SIU didnt bring back Lowery this past offseason when they had the chance. We could have danced this year and Domask would be returning.
