SIU 2023 recruits

SIU got its first 2023 verbal today and it looks like a really nice one: a 6-5 wing from Vashon HS in St. Louis, Kennard Davis. He had offers from SLU, Bradley, Missouri State, UIC, Oral Roberts, etc. He's known as an athletic slasher and rugged defender. Looking forward to seeing how his senior year goes, but I could see him being the kind of kid who can contribute as a freshman come next season.

We'll see where the class goes from here, but a lot depends on how many seniors, if any, use their extra year.

SIU will have 2 of their top 4 commits ever in the 247 era with Hornecker and Kennard Davis next year.

Good get for SIU. I know Bradley really wanted him and liked him a lot.

SIU adds 6-2 guard Sheridan Sharp from Indianapolis, IN. De-committed from Nicholls State when their coach left and had Wyoming and St. Bonaventure after him this cycle. Went 33-0 last year in high school.
