I'm a pretty objective guy and I can honestly say this is shaping up to be the worst Racer basketball team since the 1980s. Losing a buy game to a 2-8 team.

Imagine an alternate universe where we add Murray when Wichita left and then Belmont when Loyola (lol) left. We're a 10 team league missing a boat anchor. Plus we get the Morant years and possibly a couple extra bids.

Not only is Valpo a current drag, they've cost us all significant amounts of money because the add was so bad that it's taken 3 adds to make up for it.

Just another thing we can all thank Loyola (lol) for. They were a hard NO on Murray both when Wichita left as well as when we added Belmont. Most of the presidents wanted both added at that time. It was only after Loyola (lol) left that we were able to get Murray in. Replacing Loyola's no with Belmont's yes vote finally brought them over the line.

Probably the best alternative universe would have been if we would have added Murray when Creighton left.
