Valpo called and asked me to ask you if that means they’ve got a chance. :P

All the other bubble teams also lost today so Lunardi still has Drake on his next four out list.

As far as I'm concerned, we're a one-bid league.

Haven't you heard? All you have to do is win every game from March 7 to April 8 and you're national champs! How hard can that be? :D

Drake's NET took a free fall from 44 all the way to 45.

It's almost like a Q2 road loss probably isn't a killer.

Of course it isn't. P6 schools have to play Q2 games on the road. It is designed so that the NET killers are things that really can't happen to them. They play mostly Q4s at home for their non-conference. They play nobody on the road for non-conference. They paly nobody out of conference that they could lose to unless it is another P6.IT is very well designed.

Nailed it. You can buy your way into never playing bad games.

ISU isn't getting in without the AQ. We've beaten nobody that the committee actually respects. Losing to Illinois State at home was the nail in the coffin and then SIU drove it in even deeper. If we lose in St Louis we're probably playing IU in the NIT. If we were a power conference school we'd get a pass for not having Robbie during the Bama game and for not having Kent for half the ILST game and the SIU game. Of course we're not, so that won't matter.

I’m not counting ISU out with their metrics. 2021 Drake got in, so ISU is absolutely in this. Further down the line, ISU compares very favorably to 2013 Middle Tennessee or 2019 Belmont.

Bold of you to assume IU can make the NIT.

Indiana State is 11-1 in Quad 4 games
Their 1 loss? At home against Illinois State
Illinois State NET ranking is 170
IF Illinois State should win @ home tomorrow against Missouri State, @ Valparaiso (Sunday), Thursday against Missouri State, and a game Friday against Drake, would that get them to 160 NET?
A 160 NET would change Indiana State to 11-0 in Quad 4 & 7-1 in Quad 3.
Not sure how much (if at all) that would affect getting an at-large should they lose to Drake on Sunday, or affect their seeding should they win in St. Louis.
