Is The Missouri Valley A 2-Bid League?

The MVC should certainly be a 2-bid league. In terms of RPI and TV ratings, they are 9th behind the P-6, MW, and A-10. Once PAC-12 dies, MW will most likely ascend to a Power conference in place of the PAC-12. That leaves only the A-10 better than the Valley in terms of Mid-Major conference rankings (again, these stats are according to RPI and ratings).

I had to vote no. I sure would like us to get multiple teams and I think the Sycs deserve it, but the forces of the P6 tournaments are definitely working against us this week.

If you look at FAU’s resume, I’m not sure they are the “lock” that everyone is reporting. Tomorrow on Selection Sunday, they’ll have 2 Q1 wins, 1 Q3 loss, 2 Q4 losses, and a NET around the upper 30’s. Are they in? Probably?? Maybe?

For the second time in P5/BE history, a team wins 5 games in 5 days to win the conference tournament as 10-seed NC State steals another bid over 1-seed UNC.

There's going to be 3-4 deserving teams left out tomorrow with all these bid steals - including some P5s - you can bank on expansion to 72 accelerating quickly. Too bad it's too late for this season.
