Coach McCollum got his first commitment at Drake today.

Bennett Stirtz, 6'4" guard, transfer from Northwest Missouri State, where he averaged 15 ppg as a sophomore.

Drake just picked up Isaiah Jackson, 6’3” point guard from NW Missouri State. Supposed to be a lockdown defender.

Coach McCollum might bring one more guy from his NWMSU team.

At the minimum having guys he trusts to play and can field a competent team is a good start.

3rd NWMSU transfer to DU….Daniel Abreu, 6’6”, averaged about 10 ppg. Was their “glue guy”.

Drake picked up Indiana State transfer Eli Shetlar. 7 more scholarships to fill

Drake picked up a commitment from Cam Manyawu. 6'9" freshman at Wyoming. Averaged about 7.5 ppg, 6 rpg. Originally committed to Indiana State while in high school, but then switched to Wyoming when the AC who recruited him moved from ISU to Wyoming. That coach is now on Drake's staff

Drake picks up Joey Matteoni, 6'8" from Overland Park, KS. 1st team all-state in Kansas

Originally signed with McCollum at NWMSU

Pretty much the entire roster is from Kansas and Missouri
