Coach Nagy and staff land another: 6' 6" 200 lb sophomore Davion Sykes out of Texas State. Solid pickup.

Salukis pick up 2 from Da Bears in Mayo and Bey.

Bey saw very limited action last year but was an ESPN 4 star and Rivals 3 star out of h.s.

Latest is Jorge Moreno, 6'10" JC out of Lee College, Baytown, TX. Appears to be a good defender and patient on offense. Given that we have no proven 5 on the anemic roster, I would guess that that position is his to lose.

Add Ali Dibba from Abilene Christian to the roster. Doubt it was a trade, but our Cade Hornecker just transferred to Abilene. Dibba has 1 year left after playinng the last 2 at ACU. Started his career at Chicago St. A native of Sweden.

Salukis add 3 to complete the roster. JC's Antwaun Massey, Elijah Elliott and local product Issac Billington. The latter may be a PWO.

Drake recruited this guy. Does SIU have a big collective budget to spend? They seem to be recruiting really well.

Drake recruited this guy. Does SIU have a big collective budget to spend? They seem to be recruiting really well.

I don’t know where the numbers stand but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the NIL push SIU has made, evident by the caliber of guys they’ve brought in (and by retaining Davis). They rolled out a new collective, Pride of Little Egypt, but only a month or two ago. AD Tim Leonard said his goal is for SIU to have the largest collective in the Valley, though that struck me as quite ambitious given the modest corporate presence in SoIll.
