The Redbirds fill their final scholarship with 6'9 transfer out of Ole Miss, Cameron Barnes. He redshirted this season as a true freshman and was a top 150 coming out of high school.
In his high school days, Barnes was a two-time national and three-time state champion at Duncanville High School. He also averaged six points and five rebounds per game and shot 40 percent from three as a senior. I'm assuming the low totals were because he had a great team around him. He's more of a stretch 4.
The Redbirds will look different in '24-'25. Last season, they played a lot through Myles Foster in the post and really struggled hitting the 3 (bottom 15 in the country in 3pt%). This coming year, the plan seems to be to spread teams out, hit threes, and taking care of driving lanes. The lone "traditional big" on the roster is Sophomore, Chase Walker at 6'9, 280. His weight continues to come down and he's been looking scary in some off season workout photos.
The roster is set. All seniors are in their final year of eligibility.

All Fs listed are really more stretch 4's that the traditional 5, outside of Walker and Feather (ironically, enough).
