Wichita isn’t sniffing a Pac invite. They neither have a desirable location (TX/FL/CA or big metro) nor a big tv value. The Pac-6’s goal is to maximize revenue, not add a mouth to feed because they serve as a bridge.
Remember, Wichita has 2 NCAA Tournament appearances in their last 23 seasons where Gregg Marshall was not the coach. That is wildly unappealing for a best-of-the-rest conference.
