This is the week where the MVC can help its collective nonconference strength.

There are winnable road/neutral games on the docket that are metric resume builders and, of course, you have to win your home games (I'm looking at you, Evansville, Valpo and Illinois State).

I know you are a generational Valpo hater, but Valpo has only dropped 1 OOC game at home this season...

In looking at the schedule, the 3 schools he named are the only 3 that have home games against decent opponents. Don't read too much into it.

ISU is 3-1 at home with their one loss coming by 2 points.

I promise that Indiana State isn't going to do anything to hurt the conferences strength this week. Mainly because we don't play until next week.

I don't hate Valpo. I hate that Valpo is in the MVC. There's a difference. Because there is nothing I can do about that, I want them to do well in the nonconference because it benefits everyone.

But as DUBulldog pointed out, you're being sensitive and reading too much into it.

But since you brought it up, I wouldn't be banging my chest about home wins against Concordia Ann Arbor (NAIA), Lindenwood (0 DI wins), Eastern Illinois (1 DI win against NIU) and Northern Illinois (1 DI win) while losing to Cleveland State (2 nonconference DI wins, including VU).

So again, pretty please, win your damn home game.

Miami dropped their 7th in a row to fall to 3-7. They haven’t won in a month now.

Unfortunately, that backs Drake into a corner where they might have to win the Kansas St game to recoup the quality win they thought they had.

KSU is probably a must win for any at large chances but luckily Vanderbilt (9-1) is playing better than expected. If Vandy can rise 2 more spots in the NET they'll be a Q1 win for Drake

Didn't that very same team take Drake to the final buzzer and Drake needed a career performance from Stirz. I dont think I am reading into anything too much actually. Every time Valpo does something productive. You seem to be the first to come on here and say "Well actually thats not good at all". Just say you hate Valpo and move on buddy. You could also come after Evansville for a lot of the same reasons that you come after Valpo for, but time and time again, your only beef is with VU.
