Evansville down 24 in the 1st Half. Looks like they’re playing University of Texas.

ISU shooting 52%, MSU shooting 34% from the floor.

It's down to an 8-point game with just under 5 minutes to play.

With Evansville, the worst 3-point shooting team in the MVC and one of the worst in the country, most of their 3-point attempts have been step-back 3s, fade-away 3s, and out-of-motion 3s. Only 2 were within the intention of the offense.

With Texas Arlington, one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the country, most of their 3s are within the intention of the offense and in motion. I do not think they took any step backs.

How is the Evansville coach not seeing this and allowing it? If your team needs to improve at hitting 3s, you do not allow the players to take the most difficult 3s game after game.

Missouri State trails at the half, 24-23, to DII Lincoln (Mo.) University.

Lincoln has a 19-point loss this season to Southwest Baptist and an 18-point loss to Missouri S&T.

This is now a 4-point game. Steve Prohm put on the 3/4 court press like a mad scientist and has conducted a masterpiece of a comeback. Rooney and Muller have themselves a good one.

The trees are going to hold off the Racers. Murray got close, but couldn't quite get over the hump.

Saint Louis dropped a buy game to Wofford to fall to 5-5. Indiana St, with a whole team of rag-tags patched together at 11:59pm, is going to be ahead of SLU with Schertz/Avila/Swope (plus Jimmerson, SLU’s all-time leading scorer) in NET entering X-Mas.
