The OVC format was essentially tailor made for Murray St. and Belmont, since they were usually in top spots that received the double-bye. So it's not surprising to see a Racers fan enjoyed it.
I totally understand why. Smaller conferences don't have much margin for earning at large bids so stacking the deck for your best teams isn't unreasonable. The posters here probably remember Indiana State upsetting Wichita State in the Arch Madness semis in 2011, and taking the MVC's autobid. Both Wichita and Creighton were sent to the NIT that year, a year when one of them could probably have made some noise.
