UT Arlington has been discussed numerous times before right? That's the only one that would make even a lick of sense.

It’s even worse than that. This guy is claiming through implication that MVC schools are interested in joining the WAC. It’s complete BS, but unfortunately this guy has a following, has ADs and Commissioners as guests on his show, so don’t be surprised if this nonsense ends up on social media.

The WAC and its ilk are desperate.

However, if the Texas schools and Dakota schools have aspirations of FBS football, then there may be some chatter/collaboration there, but I wouldn't think it extends to the OG Valley.

And yes, only Arlington makes some sense for the Valley.

It's my understanding that Southern Utah and Utah Tech are almost all but a lock to go Summit.

I thought UIC, Belmont, Murray made too much sense before they were added, I feel the same way about St. Thomas. That's a program that probably gets into the A-10/Big East conversation in a decade. I am a little worried about focus on hockey but they have a brand new basketball arena coming so there has to be a lot of buy-in into their basketball program.

UIC made sense only because of being in Chicago.

I think St. Thomas is willing to put money towards whatever is needed. If that's the case I don't care that hockey is number one to them.

Agree. St Thomas has the money, they've already made more of a commitment to facilities than Valpo ever will, and they're in a metro area that adds value to the league footprint.
