I don't think Pedon is the answer long term, but I think he can get us on the right track.

Every time you think Pedon has it turned, he lays the largest most absurd egg possible.

I'm not sure how much is him and how much is the players, but he certainly contributes a lot.

The Larry Bird Award winner is usually the most outstanding player on the best team. The rest should be the best players no matter of where their team finished.

But that's where the subjective interpretation of "best" comes in. You seem to be talking about best numbers. Others will look at it differently.

Is the guy scoring 20 ppg on a 7-win team really a better player than the guy scoring 14 on a 15-win team?

Would you rather have Cooper Schwieger or Tre Campbell on your team?
And sorry Bradley fans, But I’d take Tayshawn Comer or Samage Teel over Duke Deen!

Indiana State got Comer and Teel to run their teams this year - Bradley paid and got Duke Deen back. One team is second and a top 80 team and the other two are playing Thursday.

Pretty sure Deen is not playing Thursday because Bradley has better all-around talent and coaching than Indiana State and Evansville. Doesn’t make Duke Deen a better all-around player than Tayshawn Comer or Samage Teel. Maybe with Teel or Comer instead of Deen, Bradley wins the league. Guess we’ll never know. And unless Bradley wins on Sunday paying Deen to come back got you nothing but an NIT bid.

Yep. Correct on all. We will never know.

Illinois State would jump over the moon for an NIT bid. An NIT bid = good season.

This is the comment someone makes when their only definition of a successful season is NCAA tournament or bust. Why even bother being a fan of a mid-major? You're gonna be miserable most years.

You bring back guys like Duke Deen and Darius Hannah because they put you in a position to compete for championships. There's also the program building aspect. Bradley leads the league in attendance and will have the most fans at Arch Madness this year. That doesn't happen because they were good this year. It happens because they've been good the past several years and people want to support the team.

We go as far this week as Duke Deen takes us....without him we arent leagues better than ISU like we were this year. And to tribe's point, you'd nut if the birds got a postseason bid of ANY kind! if the threes arent falling , we'll get bounced friday but either way, I'll relax watching ISU get bounced earlier. We got the matchups I was hoping for on our side of the bracket....the path is there and if one of our seniors gets snubbed for awards ala Darrell Brown a few years ago, all the better for our chances to dance.

The MVC certainly with a giant "screw you" to Missouri State on the way out the door! No Bears honored across the leagues 8 all-conference teams. Figured Dez White would get something as a Top 15 scorer in the league and a newcomer.
