Sam Maniscalco had 31 points against Creighton last year; an amazing display by a player fighting through countless injuries. That doesn't mean he will play in the NBA. IlSU fans know better than anyone that a dominate player in the Valley doesn't always make a great NBA prospect.

Both players you are hyping seem to have the skills to be good players at the mid-major level. Both are also injury prone.

As far as a wager... I've got one for any InSU fan willing to take it.

Since InSU has 2 "NBA caliber" players, they should have no problem winning the Valley regular season title this season.

I've got $100 that says they won't.

2 suggestions:
1. Put your team name in your signature so we know where opinions are coming from.
2. InSU posters need to grow thicker skin, and understand that opinions differ between fanbases.

Really? I was at Indiana State's first game last season sitting in press row next to four NBA scouts....they all pretty much said at the time it was a done deal, he would be drafted or signed....

A lot of guys get signed by NBA teams who never play in the NBA. I just checked several mock drafts that are available.....didn't see Jake's name on any of them.

Again, I'm not slamming the guy, just disagreeing about whether he's an NBA level player.
