If you really believe this, it either proves you are 1. Not old enough to vote or 2. Have very little life experience outside your comfort zone.

SycamoreFanatic wrote:At the risk of being called a Troll again if the latest rumor around is true, I applaud the Wichita State administration for refusing to admit this felon on a scholarship basis. If the coaches tried to bring him in they made a serious judgement error I don't care how damned good he might be. Once a felon, always a felon! Too many bleading heart liberals out there! I worked where felons were kept for several years and the rate of repeat offenders far exceeds those that are able to stay out of prison. When other players his age were playing basketball he was committing a crime/crimes. He needs to get on with his life and realize that college basketball is no longer a part of it. He lost that about four years ago. It will be very interesting if he is able to land a gig playing basketball anywhere. Why didn't he go to "free college" and get his degree while he was incarcerated; maybe he just wanted to "hang out", do his time and not be rehabilitated?

Yes I do believe it. Have seen it many many many times. Leopards rarely[b] change their spots. Take off the rose-colored glasses. Maybe he can move into your basement if he does land in Wichita?

I'm not aware of Hubbard ever claiming he wasn't actually involved with the criminal act for which he was ultimately incarcerated. In fact, when he was considering Nebraska initially, the OWH or Lincoln Journal Star had articles in which he admitted his role.

I hate to get caught up discussing the pro's & con's of ex-cons but one Mr. Anthony Hubbard can attend college if he desires but he does not belong on a college basketball team ANYWHERE!
