Nobody is saying that he's going to suck. He just needs to speed up his release. Leonard's shot wasn't near as slow as this kids. It can be done. Some make the transition to a quicker release just fine, and some struggle. I've seen both happen at the HS level. As is, if he gets a wide open look, he's going to hurt you. Agreed but the good ones adapt. Some of you act like he won't get a shot off in the Valley but I know I have seen my share of wide open looks. Adam Leonard found a way to get some looks and he is 3" shorter and not as athletic. Looking forward to revisiting this in a few years to see if 13 DI coaches were wrong.
