true, but the other loss was a much uglier looking blowout, even if the deficit turned out the same, and UNI won 10 straight after that. So UNI is capable of overcoming this.

teams were only shooting 31% 3pt against UNI coming into this game, which is 2nd in the Valley (WSU only allowing 25%, wow). But yeah, tonight was bad and UNI needs to work to shore that up, however this hasn't been a trend so far this season.

Just was one of those nights...

Haven't seen a defensive performance like that out of UNI, maybe ever. Ohio was wide open all night long, and they shot freaking lights out.

Ohio is really, really good. Have never seen a team come into Mcleod and do to us what they did tonight. I think that is a team that will spend some time in the polls this year, and is definitely an NCAA team. Mad props to them.

Tough loss, especially at home. But I'll definitely take 10-2 heading into conference play. Gotta forget this one and regroup.

I usually find myself stepping up to defend Panther fans (mainly because of my respect for Jacobson), but that was a BAD homecourt loss. Just own up to it. I freely admit MSU losing to Okla State at home was a BAD homecourt loss (but at least the Bears were IN that game). Ohio doesn't have an impressive resume. They have had some close calls against bad teams, and their best win is against Marshall (and count me as NOT sold on that team). Losing at home to this team is bad enough, but getting BURIED is unacceptable. May or may not be a fluke, but you can bet this box score will be flashed on the screen when trying to justify keeping Valley teams out of the NCAA. Extremely disappointing.
