James 4-17, Koch 4-11. Sonnen made his first 5 three attempts in the first half but only took 4 more shots all game and didn't connect. Good adjustment on him by CU. Young stepped up big for Creighton, only attempted one 3 on the night but buried it to put the Jays up 5 with less than 3 to play. Finished with 21.

UNI gave them a battle, but came up short. Need to get the one at home on Friday vs the Bears.

Well held McDermott some what in check with him only scoring 14, but as per usual Antoine Young killed us! I will be soo happy when he finally graduates. I swear he always has a huge game against us. Echinique was killer in the first part of the second half too. Not scoring many points, but dominated the boards. Kept it closer than I thought we could. Great game Jays. Deserved to win.

Congrats to Creighton.
Missed layups and missed Free throws cost UNI this game. The Panthers had a pretty solid effort though, just need more of an inside presence to contend this year, but they should have a good conference season from here on out, playing a lot better with a lot more energy the last few games.

Can't wait to get the Bluejays into Cedar Falls.

Wow, that hurts. Great game, tough loss.

Game was lost for UNI with a few missed FTs, and the missed layup out of a timeout by AJ late in the game. Thought UNI played some great D tonight, and played with the same great energy that we have had for the last two games. Really controlled Doug all night as well, was that a season low?

Really wish we could have had this one, we had our chances. But UNI should feel really good about having a shot to tie a game, especially a game as tough as this one, despite Koch and James shooting so poorly from the field.

CU shot better (48%) than UNI (38%) but seemed to be getting better shots. UNI did about as well as they could at taking McD away and AY really stepped up. AJ and Koch's struggles hurt us.

Careful guys. If we have too many more people post, UNI fans might be called out for jumping on the bandwagon after this loss.

Definitely a lost opportunity for UNI tonight. Jake's game plan was outstanding, our offensive execution was lacking.
