UNI will finish in the Top 3 next year with only losing 1 Senior. WSU loses a lot, but has a damn good recruiting class and redshirts waiting to play. Just may take them some time before all cylinders hit.

Wichita has to replace a lot of minutes but should be in pretty good shape considering.

Did UNI ever do the dance? Don't have Cox and watched on ESPN3. Just as well as UNI uses the same ULD (Ultra Low Definition) that Cox uses here in do dah

I think Early and what his game translates to at the D1 level will be the biggest factor. Will he take only half a season to adjust a full season or will he never adjust.

I think Hall will be the starting 5 next year with EO backing him up and Early the starting 4 with White backing him up. Which by the way White is just buried this year but has shown some good promise the last few games.

Armstead (will be a Sr) is a walkon trfr from Oregon, where he holds the single-season steals record. He's a PG.

Mitchell (will be a Jr) is a Wichita native who was a JuCo AA. He enrolled at Ohio in summer, so he has to sit out this year. He's a walkon combo guard. Averaged something like 18 points at Hutchinson JuCo (in Kansas), which is pretty much a perennial entry in the NJCAA national championships. Looks like he's going to walk on for all his time at WSU. He likes his mama's cooking and is comfortable in Wichita.

Ron Baker is a Fr walkon taking a RS year. He's a SG and probably the best shooter on the team in practices. Baker is getting a scholarship next year. He's from a smaller town in western Kansas, so he's in-state tuition. People who have watched him in practice, other players, and the coaches all think he's going to be very good.

Those are the legitimate D1 walkons who aren't playing this year.

Vautravers is a RS Fr walkon from Andover, a suburb of Wichita. He's the only "typical" walkon on the roster.

That leaves 12 scholarship players. Ede Egharvbe (sp??) decided he wasn't a good fit around the start of classes and is now at Midland, TX JuCo.

Yeah, UNI can do better than that. Despite our recent success we just can't seem to muster up the fan support. A lot of panther fans think the current group of students will finally be the ones who start to break the hawkeye mold, but I'm not convinced of that. Yall can keep making fun if you want but some things are just tough to change.

Are they going to give that schollie to one of the walkons or sign a new player (the one that belonged to the kid who left)?

Last year they average 4,767 so that is par for the course.
