Well, this thread hasn't cleared anything up for me. I think Creighton is strong enough to finish 3rd.

And I'd be willing to bet WSU finishes in the top 3 as well.

There really is no good answer to who the 3rd best team is right now. I'd put Evansville, MSU, Ill State, and Drake all equal in that 3rd slot currently. Surely one of them will separate out at some point.

If Patterson can play again (and soon), I'd say MSU is probably the 3rd team. If he can't play again, or not soon enough, it could get ugly and MSU could drop to 7th pretty easily.

If Patterson had been available for the duration of both Illinois State games, MSU would likely be sitting at 7-3 right now.
