Yeah, me thinks McDermott wouldn't be as happy if it was LBSU although he probably wouldn't show it on TV. Hopefully that's a good sign that it is SMC.

Each team probably wants this as it offers a better return matchup in a year or two over other teams out there......plus it is a short drive.

Are you sure that's not a TV game? Both teams aren't good but it is Butler. You'd think they could atleast make espn3.

North Dakota State is hosting Western Michigan in case anyone thought we'd get one of those teams.

I know ESPN limits this to 13 tv matchups, but most teams have a pay for stream and the capability to broadcast on the internet. I would imagine that in the future, they could expand ESPN3 for this since it is so easy to do.

Thanks for the update Red. I'm really hoping we push to get ODU and not settle for Youngstown St. I would be astonished if we recieved a TV game, but I have also seen people saying that we would be a good TV home matchup.

I think this was posted before, but how much nicer would this event be if it were limited to WCC, MVC, CAA and Horizon (maybe the MAC as well). The event would offer much better returns all around and much better matchups at the top.

Credit to CUJaysfan over on Bluejay Underground as he reports from Twitter that LBSU is at Oral Roberts!

That would be good for CU and WSU. :bounce:

If true, that would be extremely good for both CU and WSU.

Twitter saying LBSU to Oral Roberts. Great news I would think for CU and WSU. It's down to Iona or Murray State for WSU. I can't see anyone else other than SMC going to Creighton now.......

If Long Beach is going to ORU, St Marys has to be going to Creighton. Who would that leave for Murray State? Gotta be WSU...
