After tonight I would say E'ville, ISUblue and UNI are a game back, but seem like teams that might put it together. I like Missouri State too, Drake I don't feel has enough balance, but have good talent. Ask me about February 29th, although I still don't know if there will be an answer then either.

Based on tonight's play, you might want to give UE a strong look for third. One basket they beat Wichita St, one basket (or ISU 3-pt miss with 2 sec to go) they beat Illinois St, one basket the beat Indiana St twice.

As for UE, I don't think many fans not of UE would be impressed with beating a 1-10 in the league. But for UE, this is their 3rd road win and could have been 4 had it not been for a fluke of a play. So UE fans aren't getting excited about beating Bradley, it's how they beat them and how they have played on the road compared to years past.

I think the best answer for this question is, it depends on what night. I think 6 teams on any given night can be the 3rd best team. You can't ask, well who is it when everone is playing their best because none of the 6 teams do that on a regular basis and that is why they are all 6-6 or 5-7.
