nice win by the bulldogs in front of a jr hs crowd! Keep in mind, nothing to get too excited about its just evansville! :D :Yea!:

The small crowd is what the drake admin has earned by staying with Phelps.

And no one should blame drake fans for giving up this season after the Bears game in Des Moines and the UNI game in Cedar Falls.

And oh yeah. Bracket Buster is meaningless. Start Peeler, Moore, Williams, Nelson and Chinn.

You see what Drake did tonight without Simons....makes you wonder why they're barely above .500 for the season, and below .500 in the conference.

Big contributions from all the Bulldogs today. DU seems to have Colt Ryan's number.....6 points in the first game, 7 points this time. Only two games all season where he wasn't in double figures.

Was really surprised Phelps kept his regulars in the game even in the last minutes when it was clearly out of reach. Hopefully the bad karma from that won't come bite us in the butt.

Forgot to mention.....UE sure does love to flop. I've heard other MVC teams accused of it, but I've never seen anything like tonight's flop-a-thon. If UE focused as much on good solid defense, they'd be better off. They were even flopping on offense.....I'm talking to you Colt Ryan.

Drake easily has the top 3 talent in the Valley. For some odd reason the Bulldogs started pushing the ball upcourt tonight, which they never are allowed to do, and Phelps didn't stop them. I think maybe it happened too fast for him to realize what was going on. If Drake had been allowed to play this way all season they would be second in the Valley, but unfortunately they have lost to teams with inferior talent all season long.

He's never been in this situation before, so I'm sure he didn't even think about it.

While you were watching us flop, by chance, did you observe the body checks to Colt Ryan as he tried to get free, or was that not obvious :Bam:
