Cleanthony Early - 6'8" guy whose HS coach said he blocked 42 shots in one game. D3 JuCo POY last year as a Fr. Can shoot from 3. Has a decent crossover and can dribble behind his back while driving to the hoop. Some scouts say he's an NBA prospect as a SG, but his accuracy from 3 (mid-30's) doesn't make that seem likely. Appears to have enough quickness to play SF at the D1 level.
Derail Green - Slender 6'7" guy from Houston - same HS as Murry. He's something like a 18/8 guy this year. Great 3-point shooter. Projects as a SF. Likely RS prospect to put on some weight.
Deontae Hawkins - Another 6'7" guy that projects as a SF. Potential impact player as a Fr.
Fred Van Vleet - 5'11" PG who has played AAU ball against every top PG in the nation. Scouting services who watched him say he beat them. Since he committed to WSU early, Scout and Rivals did not observe him last summer and left his ranking at what he had after his So season. Consensus top-20 PG nationally. #1 or #2 pick for Mr. Illinois this year.
I partially quoted Aargh to add a little additional info:
Early was a concensus top 3 juco player at the Freshman 100 invitational last summer. He did not block 42 shots in one game...That distinction belongs to 6-7, 240 lb Earl Watson. He is a verbal commit for 2013 and is a freshman at a juco in Florida...Early, averaged 24 and 11 as a freshman last year along with 3 assists and 3 blocks per game. He is right along those lines this year as well.
Green has a pretty stroke!!! He is a 6-7 guard, and how that will translate to the D-I level is uncertain.
Henry U is a complete mystery, but he is 7-0 and athletic.
Hawkins was ranked #135 in the nation prior to signing with the Shockers. The starting 5 at his HS are all D-I committments (including Yates at Creighton) and he leads the team in scoring, rebounding, and blocked shots.
VanVleet is currently ranked 151 by rivals and scouts based purely on stats as no one saw him play. ESPN has him in the top 100. Bill Self put a call in to make sure his committment was firm.
