I wondered the same thing? Because we are better this year and experiencing a revival maybe? Not your usual sports metaphor for sure.

I've heard him use that multiple times, I think it's because we have a long storied history? Ala, we use to have big schools in our conference.

If UE beats Missouri State Saturday they should stay out of the play-in.

Evansville MVC losses by two or fewer points:
@ CU 2/21/12
@ SIU 2/4/12
@ InSU 1/10/12
@ IlSU 1/4/12
vs. WSU 1/1/12

Plus:
MVC losses in Overtime by a final margin of more than 2:
vs. InSU 1/29/12 (2 OT)

Plus:
Non-con losses by two or fewer points:
vs. Tennessee Tech 12/17/11
vs. Texas Christian 12/4/11
sad Evansville alum

Congrats to the Jays for finding a way to win.

Still a high chance with a win Saturday and a 9-9 record they avoid Thursday.
It's not like they are playing Carolina at home, it's Missouri St which BTW, UE has already beaten once.

I did, and now that I think about it, I'd rank this game, the WSU-Drake triple OT thriller and the UNI last second win vs. CU as "tri" games of the year in the MVC

Did you forget the WSU vs. Drake triple OT game?

So you saw both games on TV?[/quote]

Another emotional come-from-behind win for the Jays? Creighton fans must have stormed the court again.

Great effort by UE, not so great by CU, and yes that was an awful lot of fouls called against the Aces down the stretch.

For CU I'd like to see more minutes for # 1, b.c. he's the only dude on the team who plays decent perimeter D. And let's not have #00 ever see the bench unless he's puking blood and minus an appendage. Oh, and let's work the ball into him more often.

Despite his struggles on D, #30 made clutch play after clutch play. Heckuva career by AY.

Nope! Thank God for the cheerleaders as I saw Dougie Fresh grab a folding chair and climb up to the top rope!

That call against Evansville on that rebound at the end was just awful. Unbelievable call. Colt Ryan was freaking incredible tonight.

How many times did Creighton storm the court tonight?
