Which of the 3-7 teams can get a NIT bid if they win their last game and the Saturday Semi Final game?

Two more wins and UNI is in at 20-10. Make the finals in St. Louis and we might even get a home game.

UNI, oddly enough, has never played in the NIT.

I'd almost rather play in the CIT or CBI again since it would allow us more home games to see Johnny play. But any postseason would be great with me, no matter how "low" it is. I have a feeling UNI can't be in worse shape than that limp to the finish line last season so I would hope they would be asked to play in something.

I suspect that the last team standing in Arch Madness not called "Wichita State" or "Creighton" will see the NIT, provided they don't win the title.

UNI is a 4 seed according to this projection as of two days ago.

If UNI plays on Thursday, they will not get an NIT invite. They probably need to win on Friday at a minimum. The NCAA controls the NIT bids and will not hesitate to skip over a mid-major if the chance is there, not that UNI has given them any reason to do otherwise.
