Who you rooting for, Top 2 or the field?

Of course I want CU to win but if they didn't, I'd root for a 3rd team as well. Overall, the Valley as a conference should have gotten 3 or more teams in but conference play killed that.

Of course I would love nothing more than WSU to win it all in St Louis for the first time.....EVER. If that doesn't happen then I will be rooting for a team not named Creighton to win it in order to get a 3rd team into the tourney.

IMO, anyone on here that is not a WSU or CU fan and says they would rather have the Top 2 win the tourney is full of crap.

I want the field of course since I am an Ilstu fan.

Best thing for the valley is a 3rd team now that WSU and CU are locks.

A CU/WSU final is a nationally televised game on CBS between two ranked teams from the Missouri Valley - and each of them will have a nice winning streak going if they make the finals. That's going to get a national audience. A finals game between - say Illinois State and Creighton or Evansville and WSU would probably get less than half the viewers as a CU/WSU final.

I know fans of any school not named WSU or CU think an upset is best for the league. I can't buy that at all. If either CU or WSU loses before the finals, it could drop them by as much as 2 seeding spots. A win in the finals over a ranked team could easily bump either CU or wWSU up a spot from where they might be seeded today. Better seeds equls a better chance of winning.

The Valley's reputation would be best improved with 2 top-25 tems in the finals and two teams each winning at least a game in the NCAA's. The chances of that happening in the NCAA's is improved with a WSU/CU final.

The question is who are you rooting for. If you are not rooting for your team then you are full of crap. As a fan of any other team than WS and CU, you are rooting for an upset. Its not a hard concept to agree with. If you truly are a fan of one of other 8 teams and you are rooting for WS or CU then you should probably not even be posting on here because you are not truly a fan.
