It has been physical early. Jackie with a follow up dunk to open up the game. If it stays at this energy all game it will certainly be an entertaining game.

I don't think there is really foul play there either way. It's just delaying the game. I would disagree with a flagrant call here.

Yeah, tough call to make right there.

The play of the game so far has been Moore's pick on Murray. Knocked him down hard in a perfectly legal play.

Illinois St playing with a lot of intensity.

That charge call shouldn't really be called a charge. Tyler Brown did his best to slide around the guy. Unfortunately that is how it gets called consistently. Just more of an issue how they call charges then the call itself.

The refs seem like they are calling a tighter game after the early physical action. Hopefully the Redbirds continue to play physical and intense. The refs in general have done pretty well so far.
