I knew when the brackets came out that this was a terrible draw for WSU. VCU should not have been a 12th seed! They had won 17 out of the last 18 games with a very young team in a good conference. They should had been an eight or nine seed at the worse. MVC got shafted in the seedings this year.

Those answers = 12 seed. Doesn't mean they're a bad team, but their resume wasn't better than a 12 seed.

Congrats to the Shox on a great season. Sometimes your shots just don't fall -- that's how this game works -- but WSU showed a lot of character coming back the way they did. That's a damn fine group of seniors you guys had this year.

Hopefully my Jays will do the Valley proud tomorrow, but I don't have a very good feeling about it.

Yeah, it took the Shox about 30 minutes before they were comfortable against the VCU press. I hope CU doesn't have the same problem against Alabama. Unfortunately, since SIU has sucked, there is no team in the valley that presses alot.

I had the exact same feeling when the bracket came out. VCU has a way of making you play there game.

F$&@k!!!! I wanted to see our MVC teams go deep, starting with the Shox. I found myself yelling at the screen " press THEM!!! Get tough and MEAN" They did and it started working... But too late obviously.

This is disappointing, and exactly the same s*** that happened to Drake in '08. I personally guarantee that VCU will go on to beat their next opponent by double digits. And just like Western Kentucky in '08, the Rams should NOT have been a 12 seed.

Good season Shox, although I know you don't want to hear that too much after a heartbreaking loss. Trust me, I know how you guys feel.

Against VCU you have to knock down open shots. You will get plenty of open looks if you actually break the traps. If you are knocking in your threes you have a great shot at winning. Seems like WSU was not making their shots. Good season Shox!

The MVC really needs someone other than UNI to step up and reel some NCAA tournament money into the conference.

I'm pretty sure the distribution from the sweet sixteen runs in 06 end this year. Financially, the MVC will be pretty dry next year unless Creighton can win a couple games.
