Proceedure/Fees for Leaving the Conference

Does anybody know what the rules are for leaving the conference? How much notice is required? What are the exit fees?

Creighton shouldn't concern themselves with exit fees. I believe the Knicks, Lakers, Heat, Mavericks and the rest will take up a collection to ensure that they get to hook up with the Jays.

I wouldn't think the exit fee would be that much but I just read an article that says Temple is paying the MAC a $6 million exit fee because it will no longer be a football only member. That seems pretty steep to me especially for just one sport.

Not so fast.. Creighton must be very concerned with fees as they find themselves highly leveraged with rent payments and such. Perhaps the city of Omaha could cover their exit fee? Perhaps the Vatican? Lord knows the Pope likes him some college bball.
