I agree, what has Jank done? He has had some good teams in the past w/Osiris and failed to make the tourney. Multiple NIT births but that doesn't mean crap. I was surprised he was getting so many interviews for such a crappy resume. Maybe next years team would/should make the NCAAs but his resume is thin and his scheduling sucked. Hopefully they can keep this team together, should be attractive for an incoming coach, I wonder who ISUR can get...

Big time opportunity for someone. This could turn out positive for the Redbirds.

What did he do to earn more money? Did he win any MVC regular season titles? Did he win any MVC tournaments?

I think you have to take into account the fact that the comment was made by a WSU fan. WSU paid Marshall 1.4 million before he ever accomplished any of those things either.

If IlSU can keep players from transferring en masse, I think they'll come out of this just fine. Jank seemed like an okay guy, but also seemed to be regularly waste talent (even when it was the best in the league).

I definitely think that "Women's Distance Medley Takes First" at the Drake relays is more important news for Redbirds fans.

Possible more to the story coming? That would be something on a completely other level than so far.
