ISU B offseason

Dont see any ISUB topics on here so thought i'd create one. Team loses four seniors who by most accounts were underachievers. They add 6'6 transfer Manny Arop from Gonzaga. Was a top 100 recruit out of HS. Should be a great player in the MVC. Also Kristian Smith who is a 6'5 SG who had to get eligble will be ready to go next season. Committed to Cincy out of HS and is probably the best player on the team next to Odum. Also adding 7'0 juco center Mike Samuels and 6'4 juco sniper Dawson Cummings. The sycamores should be improved over next season if they gel together. They could have a starting lineup of 6'4, 6'5, 6'6. 6'8, 7'0 which would be much bigger and more athletic than any Greg Lansing team has had to work with. They also open at UCLA so could be an exciting yr for the trees.

I guess if a 8th place finish is exciting. Will the Sycs be better offensively this year?

They will be miles ahead of Bradley, Southern illinois and Missouri State. Bradley and Southern for obv. reasons but Missouri st. loses their best player in years to go along with two other seniors. Also their recruiting class looks weak, not to mention I question lusks coaching ability after last years total meltdown. So 7th at the worst for the trees if nothing goes right, 3rd if newcomers are better than expected and Odum stays healthy. It will probably be CU and ill state then the rest of the pack. Those are the only two teams I would put for sure ahead of anyone. After that it just depends on how good the new players coming in are for each team.

Didn't take grillz long to shoot down the Sycamores like usual. ISU will be better this year than thye were last year for sure. Odum healthy and some nice additions to the team, this team has no chance of finishing worse than 6th.

Haha the Bears have the 2nd best class in the conference. They also have the only 4 star in the league. They return 2 double digit scorers. ISUb lost everything besides Odum.

I don't really care about this stupid argument except one thing.

A) who is MSU's 4 star recruit?

B) I hate doing this because the rankings mean nothing except for arguments like this but WSU's FVV is ranked the following:

espn: 92, 4 star, #82 in top 100
Scout: 4 star, #100
rivals: 3 star, #138

And we all know that class rankings and a 4 star player ALWAYS equals wins and top conf finishes!

I'm still trying to figure out who their 4 star recruit is. I think this guy plays me constantly, I need to start assuming he just types the stuff he does to get idiots like me to respond.

I do think they have some nice signings for 2012, so hopefully bears fan don't think I'm ripping that. I wonder if he means a 2013 signee?

BTW, looks like ISUB has put together a few pieces that they certainly needed going into next season.
