If UNI loses to both Louisville and Mizzou, you won't playing Duke.

1) I said teams "like" those that I mentioned. Obviously UNI does not know exactly who they will be playing after the Louisville game. I was just alluding to the point that all teams in the tournament are high quality teams, and losing to them is not something that is going to crush youl

2) I wasn't aware that you were able to accurately predict the future. But apparently you already know who is playing who in the 3rd round of this tournament.

Pretty safe to argue Duke isn't losing their first two though. To clarify my concern is that the perception of our team should we lose all 3 is that we'd fail the "eye test". Mid majors need to do more to get in sometimes. We have a great opportunity and I think we'll show well.

One doesn't need to be a Mayan to suggest that Duke won't go 0-2.

In fact, I'm comfortable enough to be willing to wager on it. Are you?

Ok, say UNI goes 0-3 and loses to 3 top 25 type teams in Atlantis. You're telling me that if UNI were to then go on and get some wins against teams like UNLV, Iowa, and St Marys that UNI would not have a worthy enough non-conf resume? And that's not even counting the quality wins that will be available in conference.

The reason that you schedule up like this is so that you don't have to rely on only 1 or 2 opportunities to get a good win. Jeez, if the margin is that thin for UNI with the schedule they have, then you better hope your Jays beat Wisconsin.

Huh? No, no I do not want to. I never said that they would, and you know exactly what I meant with my original post.

Yeah, you meant to be an a$$. Mission accomplished.

Unfortunately, you ended up being the type with the adjective "dumb" affixed.

Hey, don't get me wrong, I will be rooting for UNI to win all 3 games. But to answer your question, yes, if they lose all 3 even if they pick up another nice win or 2 from those teams you mention I think as it has been shown in the past the selection comm will leave them out and the only hope would be you winning in St. Lou.(ok, maybe if you run the table in the league also)

I think it will be huge for the Jays to beat the Badgers also, maybe not a must win because of all the pre-season pub they are getting but it will be a great start. I think it"s a pretty good bet that if the Jays do what they should this year, they are a shoe-in for the tourney. UNI has a much smaller margin for error.

Creighton has a much larger margin for error because of hype? Huh? I hope you dont really believe that. If they dont get quality wins, they will not get in, creighton included. Being preseason ranked is not going to be worth anything come March if you do not have the resume to back it up. UNI's margin is no smaller than creightons, and may in fact be larger taking into account a significantly stronger schedule.
