Why is BJ ranked?

I have to admit, I don't follow any MVC team very closely. I only have a cursory knowledge of each team's standout players. But when I think of BJ, all I can think of on their team that is good is Cy and Lil' Wookie and the other guy that graduated. Who on Team BJ besides Cy and Lil' Wookie has proven to be any good? Are all these top 25 predictions coming because of two post players (with one that can't play defense)?

Honest question --- Somebody please tell me why Creighton is supposed to be so good this year? Is it just that college basketball is projected to be low in quality teams this year?

You just knew with all of the national attention that Creighton and Doug McDermott were getting that Cold would crack soon.

After the Blue Birds finish savaging you, one of them will answer the question....maybe.

I will take a mini-stab.

The departing point guard is Antoine Young. He was a pretty good player and I thought he was the glue for the team. He was very good with dribble penetration against the Shockers.

I suspect, but do not know for sure, that Young will be replaced by Austin Chatman. Chatman was recruited by the Shockers, but he chose the Blue Birds. I know that Austin is very quick, but that is all I know.

While most fans are impressed with Grant Gibbs, I am not. He is a mediocre role player. He will not win the game for the Blue Birds and he will not lose it for the Blue Birds. I believe he is a transfer from Gonzaga.

Dougie is their best player. A fine player and any team in the conference would welcome him.

Enchenique is their 5 man. He is built like a tank and plays with a little bit of attitude. He is a transfer from Rutgers or a similar eastern school. He beat Stutz to death last year. He had his way with Stutz. Stutz scored 4 points in Wichita and 8 points in Omaha. Stutz only played 13 minutes in Omaha, due to foul trouble. Foul trouble came about because of his losing battle with Enchenique.
