Aggies up 14-13 early. MSU looks seriously outmatched down low... Buhellar is huge and not as slow as his size implies.

Media timeout - 11:47 to go.

Don't agree. Aggies have some good players but don't think hes one of them. Kirk is giving up 10" there but has already scored over him twice.

The NMSU broadcaster, when he starts in on how the MVC is a strong hoops league:

"They've got Southern Illinois, and the Evansville Aces, and Creighton Bluejays."

I wonder how those three teams got to the top of his mind.

Looked promising for a bit. Bears down by 11 at half. Figures.

SIU probably still has name recognition, evansville hung with butler and he saw it on espn.com, and creighton is creighton.

Pretty funny comment though!

After 16 minutes of additional review, I've come around to this position. Terrible FT shooter, not really able to catch, turn and face the basket, and shoot. Did score more points than any of the other NMSU starters (7)

Bears down 11 at the half after having a patented BearDown after the last media timeout. Don't think they scored in the last 4 minutes.

EDIT: MSU went nearly 6 minutes without a FG at the end of the half, and 5:27 without a point

Well, a loss here should help the 332 RPI

And I 've decided hes better than I thought. Hes slow and cant jump but hes decently coordinated for his size and a pretty good passer.
