If Drake plays like they're capable of playing, it could be a close game

If Drake plays like they've played the past 5-6 games, then this one could get very ugly for the Bulldogs very quickly.

I know it's a mid-week game, but are any of the Shox fans on here planning to make the trip?

Despite Drake's record, they have the horses to compete with anyone in the MVC. I think WSU is big enough and strong enough inside to play even with Drake, but the WSU guards should cause difficulty for Drake on both sides of the court.

I think there's one very important horse that Drake is missing. If you don't have a good lead horse, the other horses are unable to perform at maximum efficiency.

Not only is Drake missing a player like, say, Rayvonte Rice, but Drake's sleigh also lacks a driver of the first rate.

Sleigh drivers are extremely important in Iowa.

I'm tired of you guys implying that Phelps can't coach. Name one of his teams that has not exceeded preseason expectations. Name one player whose skills have not improved dramatically under his tutelege. Phelps is one of the top coaches in the country and we are very lucky to have him.

If I recall correctly, the Drake has beaten WSU 4 of the last 5 games in Des Moines. The Shockers always seem to have a tough time playing there.

I always look forward to this game. Have seen some epic battles over the years, last years game was one. I remember Lewis Lloyd and Pop Wright taking on Wichita in a classic battle and effort for the Bulldogs, one of the best games I ever watched. Hopefully we see that effort tommorow night with some really good shooting.
