Dunno. But lets meet up in St Louis so I can punch you in the nuts. I bet I will get away with it! :)

So comical......a Wichita fan on a message board with physical violence. Why am I not surprised.

Stay classy Wichita!

STFU. Back your talk up. You talk s***. I bet you wouldn't say this stuff to anyone's face. You are doing basically the same with the crap you spew. Hiding behind your keyboard. I am giving you a chance to man up. Let's do this! I'll buy you a beer after you are singing soprano! ;)

Ok, I'm just messin around. I'm not as good as some at this. Look, I respect Creighton. And truthfully I love the hatred towords WSU. I think that makes college athletics fun. This is something that is going to be missed after all of this realignment. And I'm not just talking CU vs WSU smack. It's going to affect alot of it across the board. Just sad really.

To get back on target. Gratz again to the Braves. They play pretty damn hard. Not looking forward to the rematch and hope we can avoid them in the Lou.

I thought BU got the calls, in fact most all of the calls. That being said WSU delivered when it mattered most. The ESPNU announcer were literally ejaculating about BU the entire broadcast, I thought I was watching a BU production. Ordinarily I am not one to complain about officiating, and I decry conference unity but this was perversely onesie tonight toward the Braves...

Go Shocks!

I thought Bradley and their coach represented well in a loss. Very good game by both teams. Both made plays and stops when they needed too, Wichita State just made a few more.

Gregg Marshall gets an A+ for his coaching job this game. Despite very quick whistles on the refs, he kept his players from getting into foul trouble by switching defenses and bringing in personnel whenever needed, preventing anyone from picking up more than 3 fouls. Very good decisions on in-bound plays as well, including the game sealing basket by Demetric Williams.

Wichita State has to be happy with this win and the performances of Cleanthony Early (24 points in 24 minutes) and Ehimen Orukpe. Early just kept hitting big shots, and almost all his points seemed to come at the end of a Bradley run. Orukpe was intimidating in the low post, and seemed to really shake up the Bradley inside game (though their guards were still doing a good job penetrating).

Bradley should be proud of their improvement from last season though. Geno Ford has a very good gameplan and a few possessions would have been the difference in this game. I was really impressed by him and a few of the Bradley players.

Some of the fans' of BJ's on this thread seem kind of irritated. I wonder why? ;)

January 19 can't come quick enough...

Well I wasn't right about the Shox winning by 10+, but they did pull through on my bet despite how much they had me worried at the end.

By the way does this count as a Moral Victory for the Moral Victory Conference? Or would Bradley have needed to cover the spread?

Bradley looked really good tonight! That was the first game I have seen where the opposing guards were as good defensively as WSUs. Great game to watch, and some great Bradley fans on this board!

Man Gregg can recruit pure specimens that's for sure. I hope Wichita cracks the top 25 tomorrow, they definitely deserve it. CU will have to play even more physical against Wichita than they did against Wisconsin to get the win :bounce:

Regarding the double foul on Lemon, Jr. and Demetric Williams.

John Higgins blew the call. He saw what appeared to be a scrum, so he got all excited and called a double foul.

Señora Rio and I watched a frame by frame replay. Williams played the ball all the way. His two hands were on the ball, until the whistle was blown. He was never an aggressor toward Lemon. On the other hand, Lemon became the aggressor, after the whistle was blown. He kept advancing toward Williams and initiated the contact. Williams grudgingly gave ground. Both players were yakking at each other.

John Higgins made the call, but he had a poor view of the play. He was on the baseline and behind Williams. There was another official off to the side. He was standing on the sideline. He had a perfect view of the play. He is the official, who called jump ball. Alas, he never went to Higgins and told him what he saw.

While Williams is perfectly capable of being the culprit in this scrum, he was not on this occasion.

I really enjoy watching Wichita play. I remember watching them make floor wax out of Iowa in their Thanksgiving tournament and thinking to myself "those two nights are not going to be fun for us." Well, I also am not looking forward to the rematch in Wichita, but at least one of the nights was enjoyable, even though the last minute stunk camel crap.
