Why not? He played at a MVC university, and then left. It isn't like he never played at Wichita State.

He is a Texas Longhorn.

He's rich in the kind of way that Manti Te'o had a girlfriend.

Honest question.....would Early even start for the Jays?

Doesn't seem likely. Only options to replace would be Gibbs or Manigat.....no way Gibbs doesn't start. Manigat plays almost entirely for his ability to guard the perimeter and stretch the D on the offensive end.

I think Early would be #7 off the bench after Wragge. Maybe #8....

Players start or play based on the advantages they bring to their respective schools. Of the players at Creighton, I think only McDermott would likely start (and even then, Marshall has proven that he would bench him if McDermott didn't play the right level of defense, regardless of how good his offensive game is.)

Early brings an athletic player that can score inside and out, rebound the ball, block shots, and shoot FTs very well. Creighton doesn't need those skills as much as Wichita State does ... but Wichita State also desires different things from their players. The only player I'd really want from another team is Carmichael, but mostly that comes down to the system and not the players themselves.

Malcolm is a better point guard than that new guy for BJ, Carl Hall is a better center than BJ's Cyclops, and Early is a better everything. EO can't be compared to anything on Club BJ because they have nobody who compares.

I suspect, and I am only guessing here, that SoW would have nowhere near his scoring average playing for a team other than the one his daddy coaches. I know for a fact he wouldn't score like this for the Shockers the way our team is expected to play. Our coach doesn't like cherry-pickers.

Doug doesn't foul enough to start at Wichita.
