Can we get back to these supposedly $7,000 glasses?

I'd like a link for that please.

Also, if there is a description of what these glasses do, other than improve one's vision of course, to explain the $7,000 price tag please include that too.

It's Wichita, they struggle with relative cost and tend to grossly overpay for things.

For example they pay $1.4 million for a basketball coach that has yet to get them a single NCAA tournament win.

Again, relative cost...

Want to see what $7,000 of vision correction looks like?

Here.

Anyone who looks at that now needs about $7,000 in vision correction.

Folks, let's not criticize what a multimillionaire chooses to spend his money on, it makes you look poor, bitter, and liberal. A guy making 1.6 million a year can certainly afford - if not justify - purchasing a pair of flashy, Shocker spectacles.

Nice comeback.

To be honest, I'd like to know what $7k glasses look like myself. Mine only cost about 1/10th that and I thought they were on the high end. My guess is the poster was just a little overzealous and posted something that he thought sounded impressive, but wasn't.

Bingo!

I just posted an arbitrary number and it was fun to see all the opposing fanbases run with it! Never fails!
