The Bears are physically overmatched at pretty much all the positions. IMO we have to have a big game from 1 or 2 of our guys to keep it close. Kind of worried about Cotton guarding Downing.

But I'm looking forward to the game regardless.

Shox look a little hung over from Saturday's game against Creighton. Shox up 25-21 at half.

Only road team to survive tonight's bloodbath.

I'll take it.

MSU with 17-0 run at end of first, beginning of second. Gavin Thurman looked like he wants to "stick it" to Marshall. That will be a real joy for Shocker fans for the next 4 years.

Gavin can have his points. So far, he's 0-1 against Marshall.

Actually, he is 0-2 against Marshall.

0-1 Marshall didn't sign him
0-2 Lost game 1 at the school he settled for.

Congrats to Demetric Williams. His 99th win as a Shocker makes him the winningest player in WSU history.

With the upsets tonight, including Duke losing by 27 to Miami....I will take this road win and run!

Garvin's been getting better and better in conference play. A fair # of his points came when he was head to head with Early which I thought was pretty impressive. Barring injury he'll be a very good Valley player.

We had no answer down the stretch for Hall down low. And Cotton's defense on Downing was a killer. It was a fun game to be at. Very physical. Poor shooting by both teams but I think that's due to the defense on both sides.

I wonder if Thurman is going to be the next Johnny Murdock or Kyle Weems who sticks it to his home state school over four years
