I don't know that he did or didn't have an offer. I do not think he would have played near as much this season at WSU as he has at MSU.
I can only speak for myself but I wish him the very best except when playing the Shox. I'm pretty sure most of ShockerNation feels the same way. MSU fans remind me of some old rich dude (MSU) with a trophy date (Gavin) and the rest of us are doing this
From the WSU fan perspective - I wouldn't trade our #20 ranking (w/o Gavin) for your #243 RPI ranking (with Gavin)
One has to wonder if it's better being a freshmen playing on a 3 -15 - 243 RPI (with their coach on the hot seat) team or competing for playing time on at top 20 team that has sustained some pretty good success over the past 4 years.
I also heard that Gavin's girlfriend was coming to MSU next year. Sounds like he might have been thinking with the wrong head.
