How about the video of Odum mugging James on his last lay-up that wasn't called intentional?

No way was that intentional foul..hard foul yes, but no where near an intentional or flagrant.

Sorry Panther fans, I've seen too many last second plays go against the shox and it sucks. Ben Jacobsen's three-pointer at the buzzer still pisses me off.

Koch doesn't help himself by reaching out, no reason for that. But who makes that call? It's a brush of the arm. Arop bowled over Koch AND Tuttle on at least one or two drives and they're silent, yet you blow the whistle on a desperation heave. We have all seen much worse slip by at the end of games. Go grab the players some pom-poms and skirts if you aren't going to allow contact.

Yes, but that was a clean shot that beat the horn, not a whistle to give three shots to tie and/or win the game.

Sucks because UNI had its chances at other points to take control and never could put ISU away. This year is just a series of "what-ifs" for UNI. I gues I'd rather get run out of the gym like we were at UNLV or WSU than kicked in the gut and look back on how any one or two plays throughout the game could have turned the outcome differently like Louisville, Memphis, Iowa, ISUb twice, Evansville. We're good enough to stay in most games, just haven't been getting over the hump.

Now that I've simmered down a bit, we had no business letting this game come down to that play. All it takes is a bit more composure down the stretch. Heck we were in the double-bonus at about the 7 minute mark and we probably took 4 FT's from that point. If there was anytime to be aggressive it was as soon as ISU got that 10th foul called. We didn't and that's why we are left shaking our heads at another crazy turn of events that leave us on the losing side.

Brushes or even a tap on the shooting elbow is gonna be called.

I don't have a dog in this fight either.

Have you tried shooting a basketball with contact on the elbow? It affects the shot a lot more than you think. Don't believe me? Try it yourself.

The Panthers shouldn't have been in that position in the first place. Make Odum hit a running, off-balanced 25 foot jump shot.

If it's a foul, you call it with 13 minutes left or .3 seconds left.

No way is this foul called at the end of the first half. Called because it was Odum and he catches so many breaks. I sincerely hope Lemon Jr. roughs that boy up bad in P-town and let's him know he's not all dat.

Not like that hasn't happened to us either...VCU was only in the tournament the year they made the Final Four because of a BS foul call on Ragland with less than a second left.

We also had a game with Evansville a few years ago, I think we were up 2 and fouled on a 3 with not much time left. Luckily, he missed a free throw and WSU won in overtime.

Anyways, there's your bit of WSU history, carry on.
