I'm not saying he will.

I just asked how long will he stay without moving on if the current trend of having a good regular season continues without NCAA victories. Maybe 20 years, I don't know.

You should always take the money. I am not predicting he moves on. I am saying he is stupid if the money is there and he doesn't take it.

What would it take to lure him away from WSU....and I'm really not trying to start any sort of flame war here.

According to cold he makes 1.5 million dollars, has a private jet and a ton of other nice perks. He is a god in Wichita.

How much money would it take to pull him away from that? Would he take the same, or slightly less, for a "big name" program?

We all have heard he turned down his "dream job" in South Carolina a year or two, so does he ever leave?

My questioning how long he is there isn't just about money, because at this point he won't have to worry about that the rest of his life. It was more so "IF" the current trend of finishing near the top of the MVC continues, but not winning NCAA games, not winning the conference tourney, etc... continues does he ever get the feeling that he has "topped out" WSU and move on?

When Missouri fires Haith for his role in Miami they will hire Marshall away from Wichita.

I don't know, Hinson still hasn't gotten the Bears to the Big Dance. Maybe Dean is onto something.

I don't see Marshall going to Missouri.

Neither did Cuonzo Martin. Hinson won't be on the hot seat for a long, long time, and he shouldn't be. SIU has been a clusterfxxk and Hinson's doing a pretty good job with what he has.

I think we all know that Barry had some teams that had a lot more business making the dance than the 1 team Martin had. The NCAA Committee just couldn't accept the fact that the MVC was good enough to have that many teams in the tourney and so they made MSU the sacrificial lamb. Ridiculous.

I understand what you are saying but I don't think the MVC championship team Martin had gets enough credit and I feel pretty comfortable in saying the starting 5 was better than any of Barry's teams and would have beaten any of them...it just lacked depth. I would take my chances with Ricks, Leonard, Mallett, Weems and Creekmore any year in the Valley...team was very efficient and tough.

MVCFANS, I present you the real dean_siu. Any questions on how this guy got banned from Salukination?

Didn't think so. Don't listen to a word this guy has to say. No one in, around, or even thousands of miles from carbondale thinks Barry Hinson is on the hot seat, and the fact is, most people are pretty pleased with the level of institutional control he is trying to achieve and the discipline he is instilling after Chris Lowery.

It takes time. The only person who doesn't realize that is dean_siu and his delusions.
