So, lolHellNo.

ETA: ISUr has as good a chance as anyone of winning St. Louis right now. Focus on that, anything else will give you a headache and disappointment.

You are not reading RPI forecast correctly.

If ISUR wins out in the regular season and win 2 in STL they are projected to have a RPI of 55. That would put them on the bubble - maybe on the wrong side of the bubble, but still on the bubble.

If UNI does the same thing, their projected RPI is 46.

Yes, you are correct if you include the conference tournament option.

Still not happening. And I don't count an MVC team with a 55 RPI as on the bubble. WSU was not in the first 4 out in anyone's projections with better RPIs in 2010 and 2011. I would imagine pterodactyls ruled the skies the last time a Valley team got an at-large bid with an RPI in the 50s.

More than a little hot streak. As bad as the 0-6 start was is as good as this last 7 game stretch has been. And what other conference team has beaten Creighton at CenturyLink this year? Oh, yeah no one!

Never said it was or wasn't. The probability is really low they will run the table, but ISUR has the final say in it.

You can try and redefine the definition of a bubble team all you want but regardless there were NCAA teams that got an at-large bid with RPI greater than 55 last year. A bubble team is simply a team that is on verge of either being included or excluded from the NCAA tournament. RPI is only one factor and I think if you look at the Shockers in the two examples you pointed out there were other blemishes that held them back from making the NCAA tournament.
