Rare look at referee discipline

Postby LanceShock » February 13th, 2013, 6:14 am

Suellentrop just posted a blog post where he discusses the email Elgin sent out about disciplinary action against Randall following the SIU-WSU game. I thought you might find it interesting because he quotes the email where Elgin discusses why Randall was disciplined and it is very rare for this to be done as publicly as Elgin did here.

I've seen games much worse officiated that this one and think its funny that Elgin is now in bed with Marshall. At least we know where things stand for St Louis. Not a neutral court again this year it seems.

Also for the Shox fans, even if the goaltend wasn't called doesn't mean you would have won so get over it.

Take a chill pill, all Shocker fans already know it shouldn't have even come down to that call considering we were up 17 in the first half.

Yes, Wichita has so often benefited from whistles in St. Louis. Astute observation.

No one, repeat, NO ONE whines in this conference as much as Shockers fans. They take after their coach obviously. Instead of giving credit to a young undermanned SIU team for not quitting when down 17 points to your NBA lottery picks and amazing head coach, you say you shouldn't have lost. Well guess what? YOU LOST! We'll all be happy if you ever get the chance to take your delusions of grandeur to another league so we don't have to listen to your crybaby bs all the time.

Please point out a post where I blamed the SIU loss on officiating. Thanks.

I was rebutting your childish conspiracy that the scales are clearly tilted in WSU's favor in St. Louis, as you will see upon re-reading my post.

What this does somewhat confirm is the long whined about thought that Elgin is more concerned about protecting those at the top to assure bids than actual outcomes.

Wasn't the whole purpose of this thread to point out the officiating? Call it what you will, but seems like sour grapes to me.

And who's the coach/ fan base famous for St Louis conspiracy theories? Thanks for the laugh.

Big Dog,

You are the biggest whiner and complainer of all the posters. You are a chronic critic, who never has anything good to say about anybody.

You are happiest, when you are criticizing others.

If you have a wife, I imagine her life is a living hell.

Even your screen name tells the tale of your "Big me, little you" view of others.

Take a break for a few weeks. Say until the middle of March.

Funny. I hadn't posted much here in the last month or so. Pretty sure there is a personal attack in there somewhere so maybe youll be the one taking a break from the board at the mods request. Pretty classy. Id be happy to take a poll of least liked posters and I think if you look at my posts here you won't find much to complain about. We could fill volumes with WSU posters garbage though.
